I studied Sculptural Basketry with [INSTRUCTOR NAME] at Ox-Bow, exploring basketry techniques as a way of constructing sculptural form rather than solely functional objects. Through material experimentation and sustained studio work, the course considered weaving, structure, tension, repetition, and the relationship between objects and the spaces around them. Ox-Bow’s immersive program offered concentrated time for making, experimentation, and exchange with other artists. My participation was supported by funding from Windgate.
